Frequently asked questions
Does Dawa work offline?
Yes. Sales, stock and medicine search all work offline. Dawa only needs the internet to update prices and save your backup, and a short connection is enough.
What if I lose or change my phone?
Every night Dawa saves an encrypted copy of your pharmacy under your Google account. Install Dawa on the new phone, sign in with the same account, and restore your pharmacy exactly as it was: medicines, customers and accounts.
Where do the medicine prices come from?
Dawa comes with the list of Syrian medicines and their prices in Syrian pounds, updated by itself every day. If your price is different you set it once, and it stays as you set it.
How do I verify my pharmacist account?
After downloading Dawa, contact us on Telegram or by email; we verify your account and open every feature for a free month.
How do I pay for the subscription?
Through Google Play where it is available on your phone, or contact us for other payment methods. Your subscription is kept on your Google account, so it moves with you if you change phones.
Can anyone see my customers or sales?
No. Your pharmacy's data is kept encrypted on your phone, and the backup is encrypted under your account. We never sell your data or show it to anyone.

Some phones, older ones especially, need another build of Dawa. Download it here and install it the same way.
Which phones does it run on?
Any Android phone with Android 7 or later; a mid-range phone is enough. It needs a camera to read barcodes.
